Lisa Samuels experiments with writing, art, and relational theory in transnational life. She is the author of fifteen books, from The Seven Voices (O Books 1998) to Livestream (Shearsman 2023), many poetry chapbooks, and many essays on art, interpretation, and the body. Her novel, Tender Girl, is recently out in Serbian as Mekana Devojka (Partizanska 2022, translator Milan Pupezin), and a selection of her essays, Imagining what we don’t know: creative theory and critical bodies, is forthcoming in 2023 with punctum books.
